I'M BACK!

I have to profusely apologize for taking nearly a year to get back into the writing habit, but I've had to focus on multiple large parallel projects at once which depleted my time so much that my services had to take a major sideline. I bought a house, moved into it, renovated multiple portions of it (electrical, network, plumbing, bathroom, garage, etc), moved all my services into it, got my own enterprise fiber line ran to the place, ejected BuyVM from my stack and moved to my own hardware, started getting involved in an actual business, worked with Norway on fighting encrypted CSAM uploads, started a nearly $200k solar project (35kW with batteries, generator, etc.), changed jobs, traded in my car for a five-owner fixer upper monstrosity that makes wonderful sounds, learned how to raise livestock, all inside maybe about 9 months.

Now that I have my footing again, the foundation has been laid to really start firing on all cylinders again. I have not been sitting around doing nothing! So much has taken place, and I am excited to share all of it. Not in this singular article though, of course, the scrollbar would be the size of a pixel if I did. This is more of a "hello!" and some really cool pictures I just have to share.

First, let me start with some teaser headers as to what I'm going to write about in my next series of catch-up articles. This serves a dual purpose as it reminds me of every major topic I really gotta put down on paper.

 - The Log Cabin Datacenter
 - The Francisco Exodus
 - The Plan for Nulled
 - Creative Methods to Fighting CSAM Uploads
 - Lain.la will be Carbon Negative
 - Musings on the Profession of Information Security
 - What makes me, me - Concepts Around Efficiency, Workflow, etc.
 - Have you moved to Proxmox Yet, Mr. 7666?

I figure this is quite enough to cover the deficit of writing from February to now. Lots of fun things to talk about there. I'll try to do an article every few weeks. For the moment though, these images will have to do.

Servers for Nulled storage offerings being assembled by yours truly:

The servers this post was routed through:

My anti-lardass facilities in the log cabin datacenter. That was a big project in its own right...

The stars of the show, the racks! We're up to four now. This blog is in Rack 4 on the right. Many in-progress projects in them all:

Don't believe me that this is a log cabin? Here you go.

I have chickens and ducks to take care of now too...

And a beautiful picture from earlier in the year. I live near nobody. Absolutely picturesque tranquility. Just how I like it.

If you made it this far, thank you for sticking with me. I don't try to make a habit of disappearing (although to be fair the transparency log should have been the best indication that I am not dead) but sometimes life gets in the way. I am hopeful that I can realize some of the objectives I set for myself now, and show the world what doing something far, far beyond its logical conclusion looks like!
